Some of my favourite things about living in this beautiful place since 2006 are it’s history, it’s proximity to outdoor adventures, and the complexity of it’s politics and the ways we need to go about things.

I’m pretty geeky and enjoy getting to discuss issues that are important to people. To me this is even more fun when I’m forced to examine things from multiple perspectives and look at things well beyond the surface level. I love meetings, partially because they’re often a forum for important discussions.

When I’m not reading policy papers or attending meetings, I try to get outside as much as I can. I love to spend time in my canoe, on the slopes, or hiking up a trail. When I can do it with my kid and my spouse, all the better.

I’m also a multi-passionate entrepreneur and have businesses renting audio visual equipment, creating online resources, and helping people with their financial life planning.
